This list contains some of the same things as the original “101 Things in 1001 Days”, the difference is that it is currently (as of May 5, 2009) not 101 things long and I have no intention on doing it in 1001 days. These are things I want to do, habits I want to pick up, and so forth. I may eventually categorize them, but honestly, don’t hold your breath. My motivation and my attention span are lacking right now and I’m able to do this only because of having absolutely nothing to do at work at the moment.
1. Exercise at least 20 minutes 3 days a week.
2. Read a minimum of one book a month, preferably a chapter of a book each night to help me wind down before bed.
3. Take more photographs and even more random snapshots.
4. Pay off my credit card debt.
5. Set up my sewing area and work on my quilting projects.
6. Take a step back and look evaluate my battle with food. Figure out what I can do and how I can acquire the eating habits of a normal person.
7. Try to get in the habit of sending birthday and holiday cards out.
8. Work my way back down to 110-115 pounds
9. Make more homecooked meals
10. Create a budget
11. Work on buying only what I need
12. Read all the books I own before buying or borrowing anymore
13. Reach a point where I can put 10% of my paycheck into savings
14. Vacation somewhere I haven’t been
15. Visit friends I haven’t visited or seen in awhile
16. Plant a garden (the container garden is a work in progress though my rosebush is budding, the garlic is set to take over the world, and I have 3 cucumber plants thriving thus far)
17. swim at least once a week when the pool opens up
18. Learn how to use a serger
19. Submit to Post Secret
20. Dispose of the unnecessary things
